The Brookings Institution’s' Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform hosted a forum on transparency within medical data. Three panels of health care policy and data experts talked about health care data and what researchers have learned from it. The first panel sets the general tone, the second on policies, and the third on the consumer viewpoint. Among the topics discussed were the state of Medicare and Medicaid data releases. They also offered recommendation on making data more user-friendly. close
