The C-SPAN Campaign 2008 Bus was parked outside of WOI’s studio on the Iowa State University campus in Ames, Iowa, for a special presentation of the “Talk of Iowa” radio show. Katherine Perkins hosted her program from inside the bus with guest Steffen Schmidt. New Hampshire political commentator Arnie Arnesen participated via telephone and focused on the 2008 presidential race. Topics included recent candidate announcements, campaign activities, and reactions among various interest groups and political party organizations. They also talked about plans for coverage of the 2008 presidential race by the C-SPAN Campaign 2008 Bus, a mobile television studio. Steve Roth joined the discussion by telephone.
