John O. Brennan discussed U.S. policy toward Yemen, the status of Yemen’s political transition and economic recovery program, as well as the humanitarian and security. The Obama administration has increased its drone attacks in Yemen. Ten al-Qaida militants were killed by drone attacks on Tuesday according to the Associated Press, including one believe to be a top bomb-maker. The U.S. has also been providing logistical support to the Yemeni military as it tries to take back parts of the south that are in al-Qaida control .
