As part of a a “National Day of Service” event to help honor the service and legacy of Martin Luther King, Junior, Vice President Joe Biden and his family helped volunteers pack “care kits” for service members, veterans, and first responders. He spoke with volunteers at this event held by the Points of Light Foundation at the D.C. Armory.
