Rod Beckstrom talked about the status of the Internet and cybersecurity issues after attending the Black Hat security conference in Las Vegas, often considered the world’s top cybersecurity conference. Mr. Beckstrom recently resigned from Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, the non-profit organization that oversees key international Internet tasks such as coordinating domain names like .com, .gov and .org.
