Mr. Crosby discussed his book Stand and Be Counted: Making Music, Making History -- The Dramatic Story of the Artists and the Causes that Changed America, published by Harper. The book is a history of celebrity activism and the songs and musical events that have advanced human rights throughout the past five decades, as well as a personal account of his involvement in the drug culture and counterculture. He also talked about his musical career and his role as a father and a surrogate father.
