Former ambassadors talked about the Obama administration’s record in Asia and future challenges and task. In a discussion focusing on China and East Asia, they advised that future U.S. policy focus heavily on Asia. They also advised Congress and political leaders to end political gridlock and rebuild some bipartisanship, suggesting that U.S.-China policy would be a good place to start. The panelists responded to questions from members of the audience.
