Covenant House president Kevin Ryan and former New York Times reporter Tina Kelley talked about their book, Almost Home: Helping Kids Move from Homelessness to Hope, in which they describe the experiences of homeless teens in North America and the efforts by Covenant House help them. Newark Mayor Cory Booker, who wrote the foreword to the book, also participated in the discussion. This event was hosted by Barnes and Noble Booksellers in New York City.
