In celebration of the 35th anniversary of C-SPAN, a video clip was shown from the yearly timeline of memorable moments in the House of Representatives.

Florida Representative Debbie-Wasserman Schultz (D) debated the “Palm Sunday Compromise,” which passed just after midnight on March 21, 2005, in a rare Sunday session. The compromise allowed the life-support case of Terri Schiavo, a Florida woman in a persistent vegetative state, to move into the jurisdiction of a federal court. close
