The National Academy of Public Administration hosted a forum on the Government Accountability Office’s (GAO) 2017 “High Risk List” of federal agencies and programs it considers vulnerable to waste, fraud, abuse, mismanagement or in in need or transformation due to changing environments. GAO Comptroller General Gene Dodaro was a keynote speaker. He talked about the areas of high risk and as well as agencies that have shown progress. Mr. Dodaro was followed by a panel discussion with representatives from various government agencies who discussed about how their departments have addressed GAO concerns. close
