Senator Charles Grassley explained why he would vote against the nomination of Jack Lew to be secretary of the treasury.
The nomination of Jack Lew was approved by a vote of 19-5 during an executive session of the Senate Finance Committee held at the beginning of a hearing titled “The Budget and Economic Outlook: Fiscal Years 2013 to 2023.”
