House Appropriations Committee Chair Harold Rogers (R-KY), talked about his continuing resolution to fund the federal government. He argued that his plan extends the current continuing resolution for most agencies, but has more detailed instructions for the Pentagon and and veterans programs. He also said his plan would avert a government shutdown when the current continuing resolution expired.
