Contributors to the book Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer for Freedom talked about the Moscow-based feminist, punk collective Pussy Riot, whose members were arrested for staging a protest against Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 12, 2012. The three women were charged with felony hoolinganism and sentenced to two years in prison, where two remain. They spoke and read excerpts from the book at Barnes and Noble Booksellers in New York City.
