Members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus held a press conference addressing automatic spending cuts and deficit reduction. During the briefing, Representatives Raul Grijalva and Keith Ellison,caucus co-chairs, unveiled legislation called “The Balancing Act.” The bill would eliminate automatic spending cuts and provide proposals for long term deficit reduction.
