Representatives of interest group talked about the lessons they learned from the 2012 election. Glen Caroline said that recent gun control legislation proposals in Congress had increased National Rifle Association membership and predicted the votes of Second Amendment supporters would affect 2014 elections. Other topics included the tea party movement and independent voters, the impact of environmental concerns on the 2012 election results, and possible differences between the 112th and 113th Congresses. The program included questions from audience members.
