Former CEO of AT&T Ed Whitacre talked about his memoir, American Turnaround: Reinventing AT&T and GM and the Way We Do Business in the USA. In his memoir he tells the story of a small-town Texan who rose through the ranks of business to lead one of the nation’s largest telecommunications companies. Mr. Whitacre also offered solutions to help restore the U.S. economy. He spoke with Fortune magazine’s Stephanie Mehta.
