      <title>Book Discussion on [Proust and the Squid]</title>
      <description>Maryanne Wolf talked about her book [Proust and the Squid: The Story and Science of the Reading Brain], published by Harper. In her book neuroscientist Maryanne Wolf describes how the human brain learned to read, only a few thousand years ago, and how reading has changed the way our brains work. She responded to questions from members of the audience.
 
 Maryanne Wolf teaches child development at Tufts University, where she holds the John DeBiaggio Chair of Citizenship and Public Service and is the director of the Center for Reading and Language Research.</description>
